TAKĀ Sauvignon Blanc 2023

This wine is grown in the best Sauvignon Blanc subregions in Marlborough, New Zealand. The terroir, a combination of a cool maritime climate and ideal vineyard soils, create vibrant aromatics, concentrated fruit flavour and crisp acidity in our Sauvignon Blanc grapes.

  • Despite the perils of a wet and cool spring and summer, the 2023 harvest was magic. Optimal autumn conditions allowed for the grapes to reach perfect ripeness, with balanced acidity and concentrated ripe flavour.

  • After harvest and a gentle pressing, free-run juice was cold settled, the inoculated with selected yeast. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks, then aged for several months on yeast lees prior to bottling.
